As per the Covid-19 announcement on 27 June 2021, edited to include updates of 11 July 2021.

To contain the massive surge in infections, South Africa will be moving to Alert Level 4 for a period of 14 days (28 June – 11 July) Extended for a further 14 days, until 25 July.

Curfew is from 4am – 9pm. Businesses should close by 8pm.

The sale of alcohol is completely prohibited. Alcohol may not be sold at all.

Restaurants and other eateries may only serve food for take-away or deliveries. Restaurants will now be allowed sit-down service with strict health protocols – 50 people at a time or for smaller venues, a max of 50% of their normal capacity.

Standard measures:

  • Wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth.
  • Keep a safe distance from others.
  • Stay away from closed or crowded spaces.
  • Wash with soap or sanitise your hands regularly.

Most of the stores in our centre will still be trading (except for liquor stores), however, operating times are at the discretion of the store, so please confirm opening times and operating procedures directly with them.
