The Centre by the Sea made a toiletry contribution to the Open Door Crisis centre in celebration of Women’s Day. The Pick n Pay store joined in and contributed the grocery items.
We made comfort packs from the toiletries purchased which was distributed to the Women at the crisis centre.
This organisation provides shelter to abused women and ladies rescued from human trafficking. Counselling is given to children displaying difficult behaviour in school and assists men that have been exploited for labour.
Women are also taught crafting skills to help empower them for the future.
Goods were well appreciated.
Please note the Pick n Pay store will trade 9am to 4pm on 9th August
Wishing all the Ladies a Happy Women’s Day!
